Cybersecurity threats tend to increase during periods of disruption. This is the case in the current environment as we all make lifestyle adjustments to address COVID-19. Please take a moment to review the following recommendations from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to stay safe and reduce cyber fraud risk.
We hope you are doing well and staying healthy during the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19. We have added this page to provide updates on how The Financial Advisors, LLC is taking measures to keep our clients and employees safe.
Effective today (3/17/2020), we will suspend all in-person meetings. If you are currently scheduled for a planning or review meeting in our Andover or Newburyport office, we will offer the option to change this to a teleconference with an electronic copy of your meeting materials. We are implementing this procedure until further notice.
Both offices will remain open, however we will have a group of employees working remotely for the next several weeks. You may still come to the office to drop off and pick up tax documents. We will continue to process mail and deposits received via check in the usual manner.
Our technology environment allows for all employees to work remotely in an efficient manner. Your ability to contact your advisor via email or telephone will be unchanged. This is also the case should we be required to close our offices in the event of further spreading of the virus and/or government mandates.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Stay safe and be well during these tumultuous times.
